The Casinos in Atlantic City should be smoke free said the Governor of New Jersey, but not until we see how a partial ban will work, after it goes into effect in April. A home in Alabama?s jasper county was raided for housing an illegal gambling den.

A couple from Jasper County has been arrested for misdemeanor gambling charges according to the jasper Police Chief. The man age 35 and his wife age 31 of Meadowview Drive were arrested last week and charged with conspiracy to promote gambling and possession of gambling equipment. A man and his wife stole $400,000 to feed his gambling addiction

A judge sentenced a man to 1 year and 1 day in prison after the man pleaded guilty to a saver gambling addiction that caused him to steal $400,000 from the Northwest Indiana District Council of Carpenters. The man, 54 years old, was giving 1 year and 1 day in a federal prison, and must repay the total amount stolen at a rate of no less then $100 a month. 5 suspects were arrested in 3 different raids on illegal gambling spots

After receiving a tip on the location of 3 different unrelated gambling operations in the Selma Alabama area the police decided to bust them at the same time on Christmas day.
