A judge sentenced a man to 1 year and 1 day in prison after the man pleaded guilty to a saver gambling addiction that caused him to steal $400,000 from the Northwest Indiana District Council of Carpenters. The man, 54 years old, was giving 1 year and 1 day in a federal prison, and must repay the total amount stolen at a rate of no less then $100 a month.
